Liudmila Safina is a Frankfurt based designer who received a Master of Architecture and City Planning from Higher Architecture School of Lyon, advanced Design Department (SPAA), research mention. Her diploma research project "In Between: strategies of intervention in the dispersed suburban areas" was presented in the exhibition Question of situation : prospects for the city of Bartenheim, organised by IBA Basel. In 2014 she obtained a scholarship for studying in University of Stuttgart, Architecture and City planning department. During this year she worked on the school projects with m-a-u-s-e-r and Franziska Ullmann.
She has lived in New York, Hokkaido, Beijing, Lyon, Ekaterinburg and Heidelberg, while working for firms such as Ecker Architecten, G TECTS and Chiasmus Partners.
